Alice in Wonderland

I was called by someone who had gotten my name and was asked to help with backdrops and props for the Idaho Falls Youth Arts Council's Summer Theater Camp! (that is a mouthful) They were putting on Alice in Wonderland which I was really excited about. I was so excited that I forgot to take pictures of everything that I did because the kids did such a great job with the play I had fun watching and forgot to take pictures :). Here are some of the pictures I did get.
I painted 3 large backdrops for the play. 1. A park 2. Wonderland and 3. the Queens Garden (which is the top picture)..The above picture is Wonderland and that backdrop is 16 feet tall! It was so fun to paint and hard at the same time because I had to paint it sideways because it couldn't stand up in my garage! This pictures below are the park scene and the stage was set up so cute with bushes and a rabbit hole!

Here is a closer up picture of the Wonderland backdrop! It was a fun experience and a great thing to be involved in. I was amazed at all the hard work and talent that went into the production. I was happy to be a part of it.

Alabama!

This was a fun easy mural I got to do for a friend. It was for their sons room and their husband is a HUGE Alabama fan! I love doing sports logos because they are so precise and there is only one way for them to look! Also I have an exact image to look at. Thanks Alli and Ben!

Quote

This was a quote painted on the wall of the Vitality Health Center here in Idaho Falls. It is a great quote and something we all can take into our lives.

Preschool

This is a collection of some of the murals I have done for a couple Pre-schools. This one was for a pre-school in Shelley.
And these were done for my daughter's pre-school teacher this last year. They are the backdrops for her graduations. One side was an underwater theme and the other side was a jungle theme.

Jungle

This was a jungle that covered the entire room- I am noticing I don't have pictures of all the walls in my computer- so I will have to update this with more and better pictures. It was inspired by The Jungle Book movie by Disney.

Aspen Ridge Eye Care

This mural was commissioned for my Optometrist over at Aspen Ridge Eye Care's child's waiting room. It wasn't a very big room but it was very tall as you can see. The animals are lifelike but not scary and it is way more fun to go into the room than look at it in pictures :).

Secret Garden

This mural is special because it is in my daughter's room. We moved into a house and I was given all sorts of walls to paint! I wanted to start in hers because she was my oldest and I had too many ideas of fun things to do. She wanted a castle and we wanted one that would grow with her and then I wanted to put her in her own castle garden.

She painted these two groups of flowers herself- she is becoming quite a little artist- I am proud to say!

Plane

The idea this mom had was so cute- she wanted it to look like the plane was landing in her boys bedroom. So she took the rug and I think she was going to put yellow tape or something on it to make it look like the runway continued into the room. Such a great idea.

Nursery

This was a nursery for twins, a boy and a girl. The mom liked the Christopher Robin sort of style.

Book themed

Harry Potter-
This was a fun room to do because I really enjoy the books and making it come to life was pretty neat.

Train

This was such a fun room because I got to paint the entire thing -floor to ceiling- and it was for a little boy that loved trains. My favorite part painting this room was when I was painting the black circle on the front of the train he came in looked at it and ran to his mom crying, "Mom, the train can't see!"

Playhouse

You know those cute little under the stairs playhouses? This was the inside of one that you got to crawl into. They wanted it to look like a house so there is a kitchen and a living room. The 6 year old wrote Welcome for me and I painted it in her Handwriting. They lived in Rexburg- hence the temple :)
